The new DCU, Flashpoint #5 the most comic in the last 28 Years

As most of you know the DC Comics we all know and loved came to an ended with Flashpoint #5 and the New DC Comics started with Justice League #1.   I read both and the promise from DC Comics for exciting reads is true.  Justice League hit all it's marks with a fun and exciting introduction to Batman and Green Lantern and left me craving issue two. Better then any blockbuster movie out there and a 1/3 of the price.
Flashpoint #5 is a different bird, a Land  Mark issue.  As Justice League #1 gets all the media and attention from fans (as it should it's a great read).   Flashpoint #5 Sits quietly, waiting to be read, but is equally a great read.  What makes Flashpoint #5 wonderful is like the comics of 40 and 50 years ago, the book and story can stand alone.  You will understand why this great upheavel in the DC Universe (DCU) is happening, with out feeling cheated or that you do not understand the whole story.  If you haven't read another Flashpoint book, Flashpoint #5 will make you want to read the previous books for the enjoyment of the rich background stories.
Most importantly Flashpoint#5 marks the end of the Modern Age of Comics and brings us into the Digital Age with great hope and vigor.   Truly a great book, one to hold for the grand kids.
